Well, in case the world blows up as a result of the super collider sending tiny particles hurtling at each other at the speed of light. Scientists are looking for 'the big bang' on a smaller scale. Well, from my point of view, of COURSE there was a big bang! God said, "Let there be..." and BANG!
Even if we set that aside, let's say they are able to replicate the conditions. The universe started with a big bang. What if these guys create a 'little universe' with their 'little bang?' Highly unlikely. Okay, well, there are some who believe that all this atom smashing will result in black holes being created around the world, causing the earth to implode on itself. Well, if that happens, hopefully we'll at least get some notice so we know how long we get to party before the world comes crashing down...
Either way, tomorrow will either be VERY COOL or VERY QUIET....
